Song of the Week 19/12/10
Every Time I Die- 'Who Invited The Russian Solider?'
This is one of the best tracks from their latest album 'New Junk Aesthetic.' 2 and a half minutes of ETID doing what they do best: balls-to-the wall rock-infused metal with an infectious drunken-party-swagger. Enough hyphens in there? Have a listen.

Coming Soon!
Punk Through Time Mammoth Review Feature
What it is: a review of three great punk albums from 3 different decades. It's going to be huge!
The first album has been decided: 'Milo Goes To College' by the underrated but influential Descendents. There are still two more spaces to fill though! In the meantime check out this classic Descendents track:

Song of the Week 12/12/10
You Slut!- 'Pie to the Death-Faced Indie Kid
Weird name, weird sound, but still achingly awesome. With a combination of Biffy guitars and Fall of Troy rhythms this jagged slice of alternative might sound strange at first, but it'll grow on you before you can say "'Critical Meat' is the name of their album? WTF!?"

Song of the Week 05/12/10
Brand New-'Sowing Season'
This is the opening track from the band's third album 'The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me.' Brand New are a band that change their sound on every album, from punk rock with catchy choruses to melodic emo anthems with angst to spare, and I think this song shows them at their darkest and most powerful. There are heavier tracks on the album but for vocal poignancy you can't do much better then this.
