The Damned Things-'Graverobber'
Taken from the supergroups' brilliant debut album 'Ironiclast,' 'Graverobber' is a mighty slab of bludgeoning rock, driven through with the beats of Andy Hurley (Fall Out Boy), the shredding licks of Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano (Anthrax), and the roar of Keith Buckley (Every Time I Die). It's a juggernaut of a song, check it out.

Song of the Week 23/01/11
Biffy Clyro- 'Bodies In Flight'
Biffy Clyro: the first band I ever loved, and this song is the reason why. My favourite track from my favourite Biffy album ('The Vertigo of Bliss') 'Bodies in Flight' shows the band teetering on the edge, Simon's disjointed guitar playing coupled with Ben's razor sharp drumming intensifying the experience, threatening to derail the song at any time. Here is the bands Reading performance of the track. It's jagged, it's passionate, it's Biffy doing what they do best.

Song of the Week 16/01/11
Alexisonfire- 'Adelleda
Alexisonfire are a rare breed of band, with a back catalogue of solid albums representing a consistent level of stellar-high quality, even through numerous changes to their core sound. Trying to pick the best song from their debut album was quite a task, with 'Little Girls Pointing and Laughing' and 'Polaroids of Polar Bears' just missing out on the top spot to 'Adelleda.' The song truly shows the unique dynamic of the band, combining brute aggression, technical sections and soaring, haunting vocals.

Song of the Week 09/01/11
Pearl Jam- 'Corduroy'
With a career spaning two decades, Pearl Jam have built up quite a collection of stone-cold classics. But forget the likes of 'Alive, 'Even Flow and 'Jeremy'! 'Corduroy' from the album 'Vitalogy' is an under-appreciated gem of a song that, in my opinion, is one of the best Eddie and the crew have ever written.

City and Colour- Sometimes (I Wish)
It's the first 'Song of the Week' of the New Year! And it's a mellow one. If you have a soul, Dallas Green's vocals will move you.
